NuScale US460 (VOYGR)
NuScale US460 (VOYGR) is a light water-cooled reactor design from NuScale Power rated at 77 MWe. The design is approved by a regulator, but no unit has a construction permit.
The only SMR with a certified design in the United States: the 50 MWe module was certified in 2023 and the uprated 77 MWe US460 received standard design approval in 2025. Design approval is not a project, though — NuScale's flagship customer project in Idaho was cancelled in 2023 on cost grounds, and the large number of announced NuScale units in fleet datasets reflects proposed module counts rather than committed builds.
